Bringing people closer to our unique habitats and species. From the own backyard to exotic countries. With patience, behavioural studiying of wildlife and special equipment, the wildlife photographer can capture details that are usually concealed from the eyes standard view.
Getting people closer to wildlife through photography increases awareness and shall support the protection of our species.
Birds play a special role in my portfolio. The extreme diverse variety of species among birds globally is unique. Over 10.000 species of birds exist globally. Almost 200 are already extinct. In Germany alone, close to 50% of the national roughly 270 species, are already endangered.
